New LEGO Sets for November 2026: Sagrada Familia, Venetian Neighbourhood and Dragon Ball Shenron

New LEGO Sets for November 2026: Sagrada Familia, Venetian Neighbourhood and Dragon Ball Shenron

November is usually when LEGO saves its heaviest hitters for the holiday run, and 2026 is no exception. This month's lineup is short but enormous: a 12,060-piece Sagrada Familia that instantly becomes one of the largest sets LEGO has ever sold, a sprawling Venetian street scene for the Icons line, and a Dragon Ball display piece that should pull in anime fans who have never bought an 18-plus set before.

Here is what is launching, what it costs, how early access works, and which of these is worth your money if you can only pick one.

The November 2026 lineup at a glance

Set data below comes from the Brickset database and early launch coverage. US prices are recommended retail; regional pricing differs.

| Set | Number | Theme | Pieces | US Price | |---|---|---|---|---| | Sagrada Familia | 21065 | Architecture | 12,060 | $799.99 | | Venetian Neighbourhood | 11388 | Icons | 5,682 | $549.99 | | Dragon Ball: Shenron & Goku | 11390 | Icons | 1,764 | $179.99 | | Venetian Water Taxi (GWP) | 40898 | Icons promo | 322 | Free with qualifying purchase |

Launch timing. According to launch coverage from Brick Fanatics, these sets opened to LEGO Insiders on November 1, with general availability following on November 4. That three-day head start matters most for the limited-availability Icons sets, so if you are an Insider and you know what you want, do not sit on it.

21065 Sagrada Familia: the new Architecture flagship

The numbers. 12,060 pieces, $799.99, rated 18 plus, and roughly 62 x 47 x 39 cm (about 24 x 18.5 x 15.4 inches) when finished. Brickset lists it as a LEGO exclusive, so expect to buy it at LEGO.com or a LEGO Store rather than at big-box retailers.

What it is. Antoni Gaudi's still-unfinished basilica in Barcelona, rendered in the Architecture Landmark Series style. Brickset's tags point to a display stand, a nameplate, microscale detailing, statues, and brick-built trees around the base. Designer Rok Zgalin Kobe has worked on several of LEGO's large landmark builds, which is encouraging for a building with this much organic, sculptural detail.

Who it is for. Architecture collectors, travel-memory builders, and anyone who has stood under those spires and wondered how on earth you would render them in bricks. At this size it is a centerpiece, not a shelf filler, so measure before you order.

The honest take. Price per piece is reasonable for a licensed-free landmark set (under 7 cents in the US), but $800 is still $800. Gaudi's facades are full of irregular curves and repeated spire textures, so expect long stretches of repetitive building. If that sounds meditative, great. If it sounds like a chore, look elsewhere. As a LEGO exclusive, it is also unlikely to see deep third-party discounts.

For more on the real basilica and its long construction history, the Sagrada Familia article on Wikipedia is a solid primer before you start building.

11388 Venetian Neighbourhood: a modular-adjacent street scene

The numbers. 5,682 pieces, $549.99, rated 18 plus, about 48 x 63 x 31 cm (roughly 19 x 25 x 12 inches), and close to 7 kg in the box. Brickset lists it as retail with limited availability.

What it is. A Venetian canal-side street scene with a clock tower, harbor, boat, shops, a workshop, a fountain, a piano, and plenty of storytelling detail tagged in the database, from baked goods and books to cats and pigeons. Brickset's tags also mention a 3D-printed piece and a "mini modular" style, so this looks like a dense, highly detailed street rather than a traditional modular building.

The gift with purchase. LEGO is pairing it with 40898 Venetian Water Taxi, a 322-piece boat that is designed to connect to the main set. Brickset notes the taxi is free with qualifying purchases of 11388 at LEGO.com during November 2026. GWP terms can change, so check the offers page before checking out.

Who it is for. Modular collectors looking for something different from the usual corner buildings, and display builders who want a scene with water and boats rather than another stack of floors. If you have been building out a city layout, this adds instant variety. Our modular buildings collecting guide covers how sets like this fit into a larger street.

The honest take. At about 9.7 cents per piece in the US, it sits near the norm for Icons display sets. The real value question is the water taxi: buying in November at LEGO.com nets you a connecting extra that will likely cost real money on the aftermarket later. If you are going to buy this set at all, November is the month.

11390 Dragon Ball: Shenron & Goku

The numbers. 1,764 pieces, $179.99, rated 18 plus, about 32 x 24 x 26 cm (roughly 12.6 x 9.5 x 10.25 inches). Brickset lists limited retail availability.

What it is. A sculptural display of Shenron, the eternal dragon, alongside Goku, with tagged details that include a display stand, a nameplate, clouds, lightning, the Dragon Balls themselves, and the Flying Nimbus. It sits in the Icons line and is clearly aimed at adult anime fans who grew up with the series in the 1980s and 1990s.

Who it is for. Dragon Ball fans first, LEGO fans second. This is the set most likely to be bought by someone who has never owned an 18-plus LEGO set, which also makes it an excellent gift candidate.

The honest take. US pricing works out to just over 10 cents per piece, a bit higher than the other two releases, and noticeably higher than UK and EU pricing on a per-piece basis. That is common for licensed sets. Brick-built dragons can be fragile around serpentine curves, so read reviews on stability once builders get their hands on it.

Which November set should you buy?

Buy the Venetian Neighbourhood if you want the best overall value this month. The gift with purchase tips the scales, and the set offers a lot of display variety for the money.

Buy the Sagrada Familia if you are an Architecture collector or want one statement set for the year. It is a commitment in both money and shelf space, but nothing else on the shelf will compete with it.

Buy Shenron and Goku if you want the best gift of the month, or you are a Dragon Ball fan. It is the most affordable entry point and the most recognizable subject.

Wait if you are a value hunter. Retail sets that are not LEGO exclusives often see discounts at third-party retailers in later months, though limited-availability Icons sets can be harder to find on sale. LEGO-exclusive Architecture sets rarely see meaningful discounts at all.

Before you buy: practical tips

Use Insiders points. LEGO Insiders earns points on LEGO.com purchases, and double-points promotions sometimes appear during the holiday season. On an $800 set, that adds up.

Plan your space. Two of these three sets are well over 45 cm wide. Measure your shelves first and think about lighting; our guide to lighting a LEGO display covers LED kits and placement.

Keep an eye on retirements. Shelf space is finite, and some older sets are leaving soon. Our list of LEGO sets retiring in December 2026 can help you decide whether to grab a retiring favorite before committing to a new release.

Protect your build. Large display sets collect dust fast. An acrylic case or regular dusting routine keeps them looking sharp.
